The aureolin sun gave off an amber glow, giving the sky the colour of amaranth. Embracing an islet, the cobalt blue sea seemed to stretch all the way to the horizon. Denim clouds loafed around dreamily, enjoying the ambience.

I feel that you description is really magnificent, except that the language used regarding the names of the colours were a little too profound for me.
